WORLD PEACE AMBASSADOR, DR. CLYDE RIVER, PLAYS KEY ROLE IN THE LAUNCH OF FIRST US-AFRICA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN GHANA

Dr. Clyde Rivers, ICN
Dr. Gladys Loggin-Folorunsho, founder of US-ACC
Mr Martin Ofori, Chairman of US-ACC Ghana

By emphasizing a message of peace through God's Royal Law, Golden Rule Dialogue Expert, Dr. Clyde Rivers played a key role in the establishing of the first United States-Africa Chamber of Commerce in Ghana.

On December 6, 2016 in Accra, Ghana, the United States -Africa Chamber of Commerce (US-ACC) opened its first office, with the ethic of the Golden Rule established within the Ghanaian business community.

One of the primary goals of US-ACC is to help strengthen trade relations between small and medium scale business enterprises in Ghana and the United States. This can be accomplished by empowering them with the resources, connections and exposure needed to form international partnerships within peaceful national environments.

The US-ACC, in collaboration with iChange Nations (ICN), launched the office on the theme: “Engendering Growth and Development through Peace and Cooperation”.

The Golden Rule of Business being used by US-ACC says, “Treat others the way you want to be treated”.

World Peace Ambassador, Dr Clyde Rivers, was in Ghana promoting the message of the Golden Rule as part of a campaign that Ghana would have a peaceful election, which would open doors for businesses.

He said Africa had the resources that the world needs, but the world was concerned about peace because where there is no peace, there is no development.

Dr Rivers said, “We are going to bring the golden rule into the system, to teach people how to treat others the way they want to be treated, which would bring an environment of peace that will promote business, development and empower Ghanaians to thrive and create their own economy”.

Dr. Clyde Rivers, is the Founder and President of iChange Nations™ as well as the global Golden Rule Dialogue Expert. Dr. Rivers travels around the world promoting Golden Rule Dialogue in the developmental process of finding peace through dialogue. The Golden Rule Dialogue is simply, “Treat others the way you want to be treated in your dialogue.” Dr. Rivers' motto is, “Listening for Change.” He believes every life is valuable and created for a contribution to our world and that without peace, that contribution is lost and our entire world loses.

"As I travel around the world I see various nations or communities in conflicts due to racism, tribalism, sexism, classism and many types of divisions." states Dr. Rivers. "All of it is rooted in one single law that is being violated. They are violating the Royal Law, the Golden Rule."

As Dr. Rivers is called in to sometimes mediate or expedite peaceful solutions rather it's a small community or an entire nation, he finds that he is able to bring the keys to peaceful resolution through Golden Rule Dialogue and the promotion of the Royal Law.

Ghana has a new president-elect in the person Nana Akuffo Addo of the New Patriotic Party, and just as important as the election results was the peaceful response from all parties and citizens of the nation. We talked about how to involve the strength of the next generations of Ghanaians through a Golden Rule education model based on peace. THE ROYAL LAW KEY TO WORLD PEACE

The Leading Voice of Golden Rule Dialogue, Dr. Clyde Rivers

If you really fulfill the Royal Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well ---- James 2:8

As the leading voice in Golden Rule Dialogue, Dr. Clyde Rivers is bringing the Royal Law to the world. Dr. Rivers explains, "While many view the Golden Rule from a religious perspective, it is actually revealed as a Royal Law in scripture. It is a law based on governance, not religion."

The leader of the Global Golden Rule Movement is building a Royal Law platform that is based upon the sovereign King perspective of God, which can be seen in the Bible where it declares in Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein."

Dr. Rivers insists that this bible passage clearly shows that God is King, Lord and Ruler over the earth, the whole world, which includes all that dwell therein. God is King and He established a Royal Law by which mankind would be governed.

No matter what one believes about God, or even if there is no belief in any divine entity, most people will agree on the Royal Law. It's not a religious law and it carries more weight than a cultural code.

"It is amazing that all of the major religions of the world agree on this one ethic: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Love your neighbor as yourself,"  concludes Dr. Rivers, "As I travel around the world and see various nations or communities in conflicts due to racism, tribalism, sexism, and many types of divisions, I see all of it rooted in one single law that is being violated: They are violating the Royal Law, the Golden Rule."

As Dr. Rivers is called into communities or nations to mediate or expedite peaceful solutions, he finds that he is able to bring the keys to peace and development through Golden Rule Dialogue and the promotion of the Royal Law.

GOLDEN RULE DIALOGUE EXPERT DR. CLYDE RIVERS MEETS WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS IN AMARILLO TEXAS

Dr. Donella Pitzl and Dr. Clyde Rivers

In late October of 2016, Dr. Clyde Rivers, Golden Rule Dialogue Expert and Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador, together with Dr. Donella Pitzl also a Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and Global Liaison for iChange Nations™, had the opportunity to meet with the law enforcement agency leaders and members of the community working with the assimilation of the many refuges settling in Amarillo and its surrounding areas.

The evidence of the challenges for the leaders and community liaisons of this city was apparent during the meetings. The community workers had open and responsive hearts for their role in acclimating new cultures into the city of Amarillo. The law enforcement leaders recognized the challenges, but had a positive attitude toward the efforts being made.

At the conclusion of the meetings, Dr. Rivers, expert in Golden Rule Dialogue (Treat others the way you want to be treated), was encouraged to continue to work and build with this community. He and his team took action to move forward with local Golden Rule World Peace Ambassadors to form a Golden Rule Community Action Committee and to begin to create initiatives to help the community.

Understanding the need for Golden Rule Dialogue between all the different cultures, at this time, seems to be in the forefront; recognizing there is a need to avoid any future conflict in their diversity and create pathways of communication. Getting to know and understand the different cultures is paramount to interactive communications and moving forward in the assimilation process both for the refugees and for the community of Amarillo, Texas.

Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers stated, “It was such an honor meeting so many great people from the city of Amarillo. Our newly appointed Golden Rule World Peace Ambassadors are of such a high caliber of individuals that I have no doubt they will be instrumental in assisting the leaders of this city to move toward good dialogue and positive action plans. We hope to return and do training in building Golden Rule Community Action Liaisons that can bridge the gap in peaceful cross-cultural communication. This will be a model for the world.”

Dr. Clyde Rivers is the Founder and President of iChange Nations™, a professional institution that builds Statesmen by equipping, mentoring and training highly esteemed individuals who have the desire to change nations throughout the world. The organization is seeking to bring global awareness by strategically helping nations to educate, train and support the Nation-Building Process designed to improve the dignity and betterment of human life. One of the focuses of iChange Nations™ and Dr. Rivers is to honor and uphold the value of mankind. Recognizing that every life is created – for a purpose, with a purpose – and that we need to preserve the gift of purpose in others. By exercising Golden Rule Dialogue in any arena of the world, you will notice a value on others that is exercised in the process. When an individual recognizes his or her voice is being heard, it changes the dynamics of the situation and creative is allowed to manifest. Seeking to understand each other’s perspective is crucial to this process.

LAY A FOUNDATION WITH THE GOLDEN RULE

Dr. Dan Justice
Much like the “apostolus” in the first century who acted as ambassadors of Rome to the people where they had expanded their kingdom, Jesus sent his disciples as “apostles” to make known the culture of his kingdom.  In like manner, Dr. Justice has traveled to 16 countries over the last 30 years to create cultures of honor and to improve the life of mankind.

Dr. Justices home base is in Ft Worth, Texas where he leads a house church with a focus on developing the treasure that is God’s gift that resides in every human being.  Dr. Justice combines over 30 years of business management and ownership with a unique understanding of the seasons of life and how to communicate a path for growth and development. The family that is built in this intimate setting has resulted in additional outreach through its members across America and into other countries. Reaching across traditional lines of separation such as race and gender.

Relationships have also been formed with other missionaries resulting in a global impact that has literally reached around the world. He has also built a network of house church pastors in his city for mutual encouragement, council and fellowship. Collaboration among these leaders has multiplied resources and opened doors of opportunity for others to serve as well.

Dr. Justice  impacting children's lives in Nigeria
One of Dr. Justice’s current missions is partnering with New Vision Ministries from Alvord, Texas to plant a church in the City of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The residual effect of planting this church has opened the door as a mentor to a network of pastors in the city through training conferences, one on one council and discipleship materials for the members of their churches. The mission also consists of establishing business ventures to create jobs and to partner with the government to invest into the communities that they are engaged in. Future plans include establishing a radio and television studio to give an opportunity for those who are being trained to expand their influence to others.

Plans are also being laid to duplicate this model in Uganda, Kenya, and Honduras.

The glue that holds this all together is conducting ceremonies in cooperation with Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Founder, and President of IChange NationsTM where we create a culture of honor in the country we are working in.  The Golden Rule as a foundation is a creative force that will change the course of a nation. We model this truth by recognizing and honoring people from every sector of society for the good they have done to serve humanity.  This creates good relations and sets a roadmap for a long-term relationship.

THE GOLDEN RULE IN MARRIAGE

Drs. Chris and Carol Green

We stood before a minister, taking those sacred wedding vows, but five months later we were beginning to feel like this was not going to work. Our marriage was in the first stages of disintegration. No matter how sincerely we were trying to communicate, we could not connect. Words, phrases and actions said one thing but it meant something totally different to the other person. We didn’t have the same language because we didn’t have the same words.  We didn’t even have the same alphabet.

We cannot recall the exact date and time, but following another one of those frustrating and futile moments of trying to communicate, we sat down together to try and reach some agreement. We had to find a way to stay connected with one another. So we made a PACT and it went something like this:

“I choose to believe that no matter how you say, what you say to me, you are not intentionally trying to hurt me, you meant it for my good.”

Our pact was simply the Golden Rule being applied to our relationship. When we made this pact, we had no idea how significant it was going to be. We just felt a new sense of peace. It was like we were finally, really married. We had slowly moved beyond the soaring emotional connections of love and advanced to a solid unconditional acceptance of one another. We had forged the Golden Rule into our marriage. We had each said, “I will treat you the way that I want to be treated. I will trust you the way that I want to be trusted.”

We had a new security. We had tapped into a secret place from which we could begin learning one another’s alphabet and thus begin to piece together words and sentences.  Simultaneously, we could build a stronger connection between us. It was like working on our health while working on an injury at the same time.

The Golden Rule has been a huge part of the foundation of our marriage for more than 35 years and we have also been teaching it as a healing prescription for the couples that we coach. Sometimes our family and friends comment on our present ability to communicate in a manner that seems almost telepathic. We can just say one word or give a brief glance across a room and we are able to conduct an entire conversation in a few seconds.

This new level of communication began when a couple that had only been married for six months, in a moment of desperation, made a Golden Rule choice for their relationship.

In my fifteen years of experience as a Director of Human Resources I have dealt with many people, different situations and always have been a problem solver. I have had to make difficult decisions, involving education, career development, and employment termination for employees. Through it all the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," has been the foundation that made me a success as a Director of Human Resources.

From the corporate world to family life we interact with all sorts of people and build relationships that are meaningful and long lasting. I believe that the secret to longevity and success is in treating others well, with dignity and honor because that is how I expect others to treat me. We reap what we sow, if we sow seeds of honor we will be honored by others. Thus, environment of peace and harmony while building a strong nation.

This world will be a better place to live and full of harmony as we all learn to treat others the way we want to be treated. No one wants to be unappreciated and wronged. When we realize that everyone is valuable, unique, and is an extension of us we will treat others with dignity and handle them with care. Thus, we will build bridges, walk in healing and restorative power and encourage others to live a fulfilled life.

The Golden Rule approach is a dynamic structure for manifestations of peace, love, honor, hope and joy globally. It will create peace, goodwill and harmony and make the world a safer place to live. We have to demonstrate what we desire from others. Our children deserve to be raised in environments of peace, love, joy and harmony where they can visualize a bright future.  This can only happen as we live the Golden Rule by treating others the way we want to be treated. We must educate and instill this in the next generation to create a culture of peace, love, joy and harmony.

Finally, positive change can only happen through accepting personal responsibility for our choices and decisions.  Our thoughts and our words have to align with our desired action.  What we think or meditate on will be the words we speak.  The words we speak will manifest in our life and will shape us.  Our words are seeds which will bear fruit in our lives and the lives of people we influence. If we desire changes in our lives, we have to examine what we are speaking over our life.  Therefore, as we all live the Golden Rule we will see positive changes in our personal life and we will enjoy the benefits of it for years to come!

DR. CLYDE RIVERS PRESIDENT OF ICHANGE NATIONS™ FOUNDER OF GOLDEN RULE DIALOGUE

Dr. Clyde Rivers

There is a universal principle that will produce an ethic of peace around the world. That principle is “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” or commonly known as the Golden Rule. Dr. Clyde Rivers has developed what he has labeled, ‘Golden Rule Dialogue.’ “Golden Rule Dialogue is the place to begin. These hardworking, leading world-changers came in response to the opportunity to be honored by IChange Nations™ the World’s Largest Honoring Network Establishing Cultures of Honor around the world and by Golden Rule International. This is ICN/GR’s largest gathering to date as they work to unify divers cultures through the Culture of Honor.

In search of people deserving of honor at global, national, state and community levels, ICN Alumni and Golden Rule International Ambassadors out did themselves in this, by invitation only, event. Quality individuals, that have made positive contributions in helping mankind, came from all over the globe to Capitol Hill, Washington DC and received honor in the presence of their peers from around the world.

Golden Rule Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of IChange Nations™ commented, “It is always such a humbling experience to be in the presence of great men and women, hardworking leaders, doing good things to help mankind. Those being awarded honor are living the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We continue to look to expand our message of establishing Cultures of Honor to reach every corner of the world. We are Bringing Back the Lost Art of Honor one person, one country at a time.”

Rivers went on to say, “I am so encouraged to see our IChange Nations™ Statesmen and Stateswomen as well as our Golden Rule Alumni Ambassadors always growing the movement of honor in the individuals they nominate for our events. Truly phenomenal.”
